Get equipped. Learn effective use. Develop your next service.

Connect practical training with the products and equipment you intend to use. Discuss mixing, hopper and spray setup, compatible compressor requirements, cleaning, maintenance and PPE with the Academy before purchasing your setup.

Agree the training and application scope.

The one-day course teaches the core skills described above. Coastal detailing, vessel preparation and complete-system design need project-specific assessment; this section does not promise a separate coastal or marine qualification. Confirm any additional practical training, competence assessment and approved application scope with the Academy.

Training attendance alone does not confer Approved Applicator status or guarantee work, earnings or warranty cover. Read Technology & Quality and the system pages for technical evidence and its scope.

Is this course right for you?

Bring your existing plastering, rendering, decorating, spraying or building experience. Tell us your trade, goals and who you want to train so we can advise on suitability. Contractor and property-maintenance teams can also enquire about a team day.

Learn where cork systems fit and when to seek technical advice. Damp and mould need their causes assessed; a coating alone is not a solution to every building problem.

Before you book

Do I need my own spray equipment?

Ask us to confirm equipment, materials and PPE arrangements for your selected course before booking or buying equipment.

Does completing training make me an Approved Applicator?

Attendance alone does not confer approval. Training completion and ECOPROCORK Approved Applicator status are separate. Approval depends on the relevant competence assessment, quality requirements and agreed system scope.

Is CITB funding available?

CITB-registered employers may be able to access support through Employer Networks, subject to current eligibility, course approval and available funding. Confirm your selected course and funding arrangements with ECOPROCORK and CITB before booking. Funding is not guaranteed. Read CITB’s current funding guidance.
