Web edition 1.3 · Evidence reviewed 19 October 2026 · Source: DS-Adhesive-Render-V1.pdf. No issue date is stated in the source sheet.
Product information from the existing shop datasheet, with clarification notes where source details are incomplete. Values are source reported; confirm the current product, grade and complete system specification before installation.
The technical table has been checked against the manufacturer-hosted DECOPROCAL mortar PDF in its 2026/04 folder. That location is not a printed revision or publication date. Older English-source guidance is retained where identified; seek confirmation of the current project specification.

The source describes DECOPROCAL as a natural hydraulic lime mortar with binders, polymers, cork aggregates, selected aggregates and additives, used for adhesion and protection of insulation boards and as an adhesive render within specified insulation systems.
Listed insulation materials include cork, wood fibre and mineral wool. The source also describes levelling and refurbishment of suitable masonry surfaces. Confirm system compatibility and suitability for the actual board and substrate.
Packaging: 25 kg multi-layer paper sacks with moisture protection.
Substrates must be sound, clean, suitably flat, porous and rough, with incompatible finishes and loose material removed. The source advises moistening absorbent substrates and allowing the surface water film to disappear before application.
Mix each 25 kg bag with 6–7 litres of clean water to form a smooth, lump-free mortar. Allow five minutes’ standing time before use.
The source describes perimeter-and-dab board fixing, mechanical fixings, reinforcement at openings and 160 g/m² mesh. Fixing quantities and details require a project-specific system specification.
Do not apply below 5°C or above 30°C, or in frost, rain, strong wind, direct sun or areas with stagnant water. The source excludes gypsum, paints, metal, plastic, waterproofed substrates and materials of low mechanical strength; it also advises against application to wood.
The source states that the system must not be finished with conventional cement or single-coat mortars and that this mortar is not the final finish directly on cladding.
Manufacturer-reported values from the DECOPROCAL mortar PDF hosted in the manufacturer’s 2026/04 folder, reviewed 14 October 2026. No printed issue date is stated; underlying test reports have not been independently verified.
| Property | Source-reported value | Reference or note |
|---|---|---|

Values requiring confirmation: the older English PDF contains ambiguous density units and split strength/conductivity cells. The table above now uses the readable manufacturer-hosted values, including 3–5 mm coating thickness and 0.36 W/(m·K) mortar conductivity. These remain manufacturer-reported; obtain the applicable current declaration and full reports for specification. Adhesive thickness and project fixing design still require confirmation.
Fixings: the original recommends at least eight per square metre and ten at heights over 25 m. Do not substitute this generic guidance for the project’s wind-load, substrate, board and system fixing design.
Storage: the source gives 12 months in closed original packaging, protected from moisture and stored under cover.
Cleaning and safety: wash tools with water before set; hardened material requires mechanical removal. Consult the latest SDS for handling, PPE, storage and disposal.
Conflicting editions: The older English PDF lists 8 fixings/m² and 10 above 25 m; the newer manufacturer-hosted PDF lists minimum 6/m² and 8 above 25 m. Neither generic count is a project fixing design. Confirm the applicable system, substrate, wind-load assessment and pull-out resistance with the designer and manufacturer before installation. Adhesive thickness remains approximately 2–5 cm in the manufacturer table; do not silently reinterpret it as mm.

Manufacturer management systems. Decoproyec displays this RINA mark for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, together with CISQ and IQNet references. These relate to the manufacturer’s management systems, rather than a performance certification for this individual product.
The current certificate numbers, editions, scope and expiry dates were not supplied on the technical page checked. View manufacturer source.

Conformity documentation required. The CE symbol shown in this section is not a Declaration of Performance and does not establish the applicable conformity route for DECOPROCAL. The manufacturer-hosted mortar PDF reviewed here does not establish an EN 1504-2 declaration for this product.
Obtain a current Declaration of Performance and the correct harmonised specification for the supplied mortar and intended use. View manufacturer technical source.
Product evidence: Test-method references and reported values remain in the technical matrix above. A named laboratory, report number or current product certificate is included only where a source establishes it. Manufacturer management-system references do not extend coating test results to another product or grade.
Documents for specification: Request the current product declaration, applicable certificates and full test reports, including report numbers, issue dates, grade, substrate, thickness and expiry where relevant. Ask ECOPROCORK for supporting technical documents.
