The supplied datasheet reports these figures; we have not carried out new independent tests. However, it gives thermal and acoustic results only for 20 mm and 60 mm boards. Therefore, confirm the declared data for your chosen thickness before specifying it. The costing workbook also contains different thermal entries, so this page retains the original datasheet figures.
Using R and U values
For a homogeneous layer, R = thickness in metres ÷ thermal conductivity. In contrast, a U-value describes the complete wall, including its layers and surface resistances. Therefore, the board figures alone cannot establish a whole-wall U-value or an energy-saving forecast.
Specification notes
The datasheet cites ETA-13/0783. Before specifying a system, request the current declaration, ETA and test reports to check their scope. Its Euroclass E entry relates to the board; the spray-coating classification applies to a different product. Also assess substrates, moisture, fixings, adhesive, reinforcement and finishes together as a complete build-up.
