Spray cork cost depends on the product, surface condition, access and complete system being installed. A bucket price is only one part of a project budget. Use this guide to compare quotes and choose the next step for your building.
Product cost and installed cost
For materials only, check the current Decoproyec sprayed cork price and selected colour in the shop. Confirm whether the displayed price includes VAT and whether delivery is additional. Trade pricing, where available, depends on your account and agreed terms.
An installed quote should also allow for assessment, cleaning, repairs, masking, compatible preparation products, labour, access equipment and waste. Compare quotes for the same preparation, finished thickness and scope. A low material price does not establish the total cost of a durable installation.
What changes a spray cork quote?
- Area and detail: wall area, reveals, corners and the number of openings affect material and labour requirements.
- Existing surface: loose coatings, cracks, contamination and unsuitable substrates can require preparation or repair.
- Access: scaffolding, height, occupied premises and protection of adjoining surfaces affect the work.
- System build-up: a spray cork finish, reinforced basecoat system and cork-board insulation system have different purposes and costs.
- Product and thickness: use the specified grade, number of coats and finished thickness. Coverage depends on the surface and application; confirm it against the current technical data.
- Location and programme: delivery, travel, weather and sequencing can affect the quotation.
Compare the right system
A thin cork finish and external wall insulation containing cork boards should not be compared as equivalent insulation measures. Whole-wall U-values depend on the existing wall and complete build-up. Review the system options and illustrative thermal matrix, then check the technical evidence for the intended specification.
For internal cold walls or mould, investigate moisture sources and ventilation before choosing a coating. Cork is not a substitute for repairing leaks or addressing the underlying cause. For exterior refurbishment, ask how the installer will assess movement, existing render and weather exposure.
What should a written quotation include?
- The measured area, named products and proposed layer build-up.
- Preparation, repairs, masking, access and any exclusions.
- Finished thickness, application conditions and expected programme.
- VAT, delivery and other charges, together with payment terms.
- Installer competence, maintenance requirements and the written warranty conditions that apply.
Buying product and training
You can buy products without attending training. Without training, the installation does not qualify for an ECOPROCORK system/application warranty; statutory rights are unaffected. Customers buying without a trade discount can have the training cost refunded against their first £1,000 order. Check the Academy page for the current course and offer details before booking.
