AIDICO report IT130117 · 31 July 2013 · UNE-EN ISO 9227:2006
Laboratory evidence for DECOPROYEC sprayed cork in a neutral salt-spray environment. Read the result, tested substrates and limits, then open the complete original report.
Fibreglass specimens: no visible change and no observed change or adhesion defect between the sprayed cork and the fibreglass sheet.
Metal specimen: the exposed metal side oxidised. No apparent change was reported on the sprayed-cork face. The report expressly notes that a metal substrate can still suffer damage.
The report supports resistance of the tested sprayed-cork specimens to the stated salt-spray conditions. It strengthens the evidence for considering cork in exposed coastal refurbishment, alongside moisture management, compatible preparation and careful detailing.
It is not a test of a complete rendered masonry façade, a service-life prediction, a guarantee against corrosion or proof that the coating alone waterproofs a building. Confirm that the current supplied grade, formulation and proposed build-up are covered by the relevant documentation.
The signed English declaration refers to the same AIDICO report. It is a manufacturer declaration, not a second independent test. It does not show an issue date. The full Spanish laboratory report is the controlling source for the substrate-specific results and the metal-corrosion limitation.
The declaration and report describe the chamber arrangement differently; the laboratory report says the specimens were held at 20° to vertical and were not directly hit by the spray nozzles. Neither document supplies a project-specific wall specification or a quantified pull-off adhesion result after exposure.
