ECOPROCORK® SYSTEMS · SLICS-S

Coastal Protection.
Made for your exposed frontage.

Sea views. Coastal character. A frontage worth looking after.

SLICS-S brings ECOPROCORK’s sprayed layered cork approach to coastal refurbishment—combining a textured cork finish with preparation and detailing chosen for your property.

For homeowners, hotels and property teams, it offers a practical route to refreshing exposed walls while planning for the demands of salt-laden air, wind-driven rain and ongoing upkeep.

A confident finish starts with a considered system.

Refresh the character

Explore colour and texture that work with your frontage, from a coastal home to a larger hospitality property. Retain sound existing finishes where the assessment supports it.

Plan for exposure

Bring the condition of your walls, existing salts, repairs and weather exposure into the specification. Preparation and details around openings, roof edges and junctions are central to the result.

Make upkeep part of the brief

Consider appearance, access for maintenance and periodic inspection from the outset. Agree a realistic care plan for the finished surface.

A fresh finish for a coastal setting.

Completed Barmouth coastal home from the existing project collection.

The right layers for your building.

Direct-to-substrate route: suitable sound prepared surfaces, agreed repairs and primer where required, followed by the specified sprayed-cork layers.

Reinforced-basecoat route: compatible preparation and reinforced basecoat where the assessment calls for it, finished with sprayed cork.

Cork-board insulation route: where additional insulation is a priority, assess a coordinated board, adhesive, fixing, reinforcement and cork-finish build-up.

Each route needs its own specification. SLICS-S identifies the coastal application route; the selected products and complete build-up determine the performance.

Get equipped. Get trained. Improve properties.

Bring the right cork product, spray equipment and practical skills together. Choose your setup, learn effective application at the ECOPROCORK Academy and take that knowledge into your next project.

1,000-hour salt-spray testAIDICO IT130117 · UNE-EN ISO 9227:2006 · 31 July 2013. Cork-coated fibreglass specimens showed no visible change or observed adhesion defect. On the metal specimen the exposed metal oxidised while the coated face showed no apparent change.Full test result and original report. This supports consideration of the tested material; it is not certification of a complete masonry façade, a service-life forecast or general corrosion protection.
Adhesion and weather exposureAIDICO IE134173 records prepared-concrete adhesion and accelerated weathering on tested specimens.Datasheet, results and scope. Trial areas and substrate checks remain necessary for the actual project.
Moisture managementThe coating’s properties form part of the full wall design.Repair water-entry defects and assess existing damp and salts. The finish alone is not a building waterproofing system or a cure for damp.
Thermal and fire specificationUse the documented product-specific evidence in the technical library.Confirm the current grade and total thickness. No whole-wall U-value, non-combustibility or universal system certification is claimed.
