This page brings the existing product datasheet into an editable web format. Values below are reported by that source, with clarification notes where the original information is incomplete. This is product information, not a specification for a complete SLICS™ or TLICS™ system.
AIDICO IT130117 · UNE-EN ISO 9227:2006 · 31 July 2013. No visible change or observed adhesion defect on the tested cork-coated fibreglass specimens after 1,000 hours of neutral salt spray. The metal side oxidised; its cork-coated face showed no apparent change.

Historical specimen test, not a complete masonry façade certification or a service-life prediction. Confirm current grade and proposed build-up.

Trade name: DECOPROYEC.
Packaging: 12 kg in a sealed bucket (source states 21 litres), containing a manually sealed plastic bag.
Surfaces listed in the source: façades, terraces, roofs, walls and ceilings.
Applications listed in the source: thermal insulation, acoustic conditioning, decorative coating and asbestos encapsulation. Suitability depends on the substrate, preparation and specified system. Asbestos work requires specialist assessment; this listing is not an instruction to disturb asbestos.
Remove the product from its packaging and stir with approximately 500 ml of water until the required flowability and consistency are achieved, as described in the source datasheet.
The source specifies a CP19 spray gun. The substrate must be dry, clean and sanitised. Fill cracks and fissures before coating; the source names Masilla trowelable thermal cork preparation and filler.
No nozzle size, operating pressure or grade-specific coverage is provided in this source sheet. Confirm these details for the selected grade before application.
Source-reported product values. Test references are reproduced from the existing datasheet; the AITEX 2024AN1825 fire classification has now been reviewed. AIDICO salt-spray report IT130117 has also been reviewed; the supplied AIDICO IE134173 report and its AITEX 2013AN1713 thermal annex were reviewed on 19 October 2026. The archived datasheet values and laboratory results are distinguished below.
| Property | Source-reported value | Test reference |
|---|---|---|
| Water vapour permeability | Sd = 0.35; Class I, permeable to water vapour | EN ISO 7783 |
| Capillary absorption / water permeability | 0.21 ± 0.002 kg/(m²·h^0.5), tested coated mortar specimens; not whole-building waterproofing | AIDICO IE134173, page 3 · UNE-EN 1062-3 |
| Adhesion | 0.65 ± 0.03 N/mm², mean on prepared standard concrete | AIDICO IE134173, page 2 · UNE-EN 1542:2000 |
| Reaction to fire | C-s1,d0 for the specimen and mounting described in AITEX 2024AN1825. This is not a non-combustible rating or a classification for every cork grade or complete wall system. | AITEX 2024AN1825 — EN 13501-1:2018; scope and original reports. The historic ISO 4589-2 oxygen-index reference does not establish a Euroclass. |
| Marine and saline environment | 1,000 hours; no visible change or observed adhesion defect on tested cork-coated fibreglass specimens. Exposed metal oxidised; cork face showed no apparent change. AIDICO IT130117, 31 July 2013. | UNE-EN ISO 9227:2006 |
| Hazardous substances | Source describes a natural product containing no hazardous substances; consult the current safety data sheet | Not stated |
| Accelerated ageing | Type 1: very light change, barely perceptible | UNE-EN 11507 |
| Specific gravity | 0.5–0.7 g/cm³ | Not stated |
| Tensile strength / elongation at break | 0.26 MPa / 34.6% | UNE-EN ISO 527-4 |
| Impact and shock resistance | Source reports ‘resistant; no break’ | Not stated |
| Thermal conductivity | Archived sheet: 0.050 W/(m·K). Historic laboratory mean: 0.0588 W/(m·K); see the discrepancy note below. | AITEX 2013AN1713 annex to AIDICO IE134173 · UNE-EN 12667:2002 |
| Touch dry | 120 minutes at 20°C | Not stated |
| Total drying | 48 hours for a 3 mm layer at 20°C | Not stated |
| Temperature tolerance | −40°C to 177°C | Not stated |
| Acoustic entry labelled ‘dynamic rigidity’ | Source reports ‘until 19 dB’; measurement and interpretation require clarification | EN 29052-1 |
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sun and protected from frost. The original sheet also gives a storage range of −5°C to 40°C; its below-zero limit conflicts with the instruction to avoid frost and requires manufacturer clarification.
The source advises storage for no longer than one year from the manufacturing date.
The source recommends overalls, gloves and a disposable mask during spraying. Choose appropriate respiratory and other protection using the current safety data sheet and a task-specific risk assessment.
Clean application equipment and tools with water. Dispose of waste in accordance with applicable local and national requirements.
Fire: “Practically incombustible” is historical source wording. Use the reviewed AITEX C-s1,d0 classification only within its documented specimen and mounting scope; it is not a non-combustible rating.
Acoustics: the original “dynamic rigidity” entry is expressed in dB. The sheet does not explain the measurement, assembly or result; do not use it as a verified sound-reduction rating.
Water resistance: the source’s waterproofing description relates to the coating. It does not establish the suitability of a complete roof, terrace or façade system.
Thermal performance: the listed conductivity is a material value. Whole-wall performance depends on build-up and installed thickness.
Confirm current manufacturer documentation and project suitability before installation. This web edition does not replace a current safety data sheet or a project specification.
The 12-page report issued 9 September 2013 records mean pull-off adhesion of 0.65 ± 0.03 N/mm² on prepared standard concrete (page 2), liquid-water permeability 0.21 ± 0.002 kg/(m²·h^0.5) on coated mortar specimens (page 3), and grade 1, very slight colour change after 1,000 hours of UV/water ageing (pages 4–6). These results apply to the tested specimens and conditions.
Thermal discrepancy requiring clarification: the annex is AITEX 2013AN1713, tested 18–22 July 2013 to UNE-EN 12667:2002. It reports mean conductivity 0.0588 W/(m·K) and mean resistance 0.1401 m²·K/W, while referring to an estimated 3 mm specimen. The thickness, resistance and conductivity entries do not reconcile using R = d/λ: 0.003/0.0588 is approximately 0.051 m²·K/W. The archived datasheet separately quotes 0.050 W/(m·K). Do not use the reported resistance as a verified 3 mm design value or a whole-wall U-value. Request a current grade-specific declaration and written laboratory/manufacturer clarification.

The manufacturer’s AIDICO associated-member reference 1054 is separate from this test report and does not establish a general product approval.

Reviewed fire evidence: AITEX certificate 24AN1825 and report 2024AN1825, issued 31 July 2024, classify the documented sprayed-cork specimen as C-s1,d0 under EN 13501-1:2018. This applies within the specimen, substrate, thickness and mounting scope described in the report; it does not establish non-combustibility, fire resistance, smoke toxicity or classification for every grade or complete wall system.
