Spray cork & render comparison · ECOPROCORK®
Explore how ECOPROCORK® SLICS™ compares with silicone, monocouche and sand-and-cement render. See the differences at a glance, then check the technical data for your project.

Define the brief first
A decorative finish is not the same as a whole-wall insulation upgrade. Equally, an insulation system must still be detailed and finished appropriately for the building.
Understand the wall or roof, existing coatings, defects, exposure and any moisture problem before choosing a material.
Set out the appearance, thermal objective, available space, maintenance expectations and project constraints.
Compare preparation, components, thickness, detailing, application, evidence and written warranty terms.
The spray-cork advantage
SLICS™ brings cork’s thermal properties, flexibility and a coloured finish together in a thin coating. See where it differs from conventional render options.

Why choose SLICS™? A cork-based, flexible finish with minimal added thickness—an option worth considering when refurbishing a suitable existing surface without a thick render build-up.
¹ Manufacturer-declared product properties, not whole-wall performance. A thin cork coating adds limited thermal resistance; it does not replace external or internal wall insulation or establish an energy-saving percentage. Flexibility does not make a coating crack-proof: existing cracks and defects must be repaired.
² Approximate coating thickness only; preparation, primers and any supporting layers depend on the project. All options require a sound, suitable substrate. Weather protection depends on the complete specification; the cork layer alone is not a roof waterproofing system. The coating contains cork, binder and other ingredients.
